RESPONSIBILITIES

• Applies understanding and knowledge of consumer, market and industry trends in developing compelling core and promotional menu offerings that drive guest satisfaction, guest traffic and brand awareness while meeting Nekter’s financial requirements.
• Manage and problem solve and manage all aspects of new and existing menu development. This will include but not limited to: recipes, nutrition requirements, yields, in-store procedures and smallwares.
• Analyze and study competition, direct and non-direct, to ensure that we are staying current with industry trends at the same time introducing initiatives that put us above and first with our customers and competition.
• Create a pipeline of new items developed, approved and tested ready to be implemented as needed.
• Supported technically the local teams for new product development, adaptation and transfer of international innovations.
• Involved in costing of new and existing products.
• In depth market understanding and competitor intelligence in the region.
• Trained the local teams on best practices in sensory analysis .
• To initiate and active involvement in new product development (NPD) using advice and information from the quality, sales, marketing & operations departments as inputs.
• To conduct the study on shelf life of newly developing product to offer quality product to our customer.
• Ensuring raw Materials, Pre-Mixes, in process Material, Packaging Material and finished Goods needed for new products are in place for the work to be carried out.
• To ensure all records are maintained with proper back up and presented to the management.
• Ensuring new products conforms the standards and advice QC in setting HACCP for new products.
• Performed lead role in setting and establishing a proper R&D department and perform other duties as per the further expansion of the department.
• Check audit reports to ensure daily opening & closing balance of all raw and packaging material to avoid difference in the monthly audit.

• Observe the MSF charter.
• Perform all activity in line with the MSF protocols and procedures.
• Respect the time schedule and be at work on time (flexible at anytime).
• Maintain good relationship with other team members.
• Adhere to MSF Hygiene and Sterilization protocols.

1. Application of basic hygiene rules

• Respects the clean and dirty circuits.
• When at work, the sterilization technician wears surgical scrubs, cap, mask,and non-sterile gloves.
• Clean and disinfect work equipment and surfaces.
• Ensuring the cleanless of the sterilization room and the surroundings.
• Puts on clean set of above clothes each day.
• Performs antiseptic handwashing upon entering the room, and before handling equipment.
• Changes the clothes and shoes at IN and OUT.

2. Description of tasks.

• Follow the standard precautions.
• Follow the schedule of tasks set for the service.
• Receives the dirty medical devices from Operation Theatre and other clinicaldepartments.
• Pre-disinfect and clean soiled medical devices.
• Check and pack devices taking note in event of damage or incomplete set.
• Check and fold the clean linen taking note in event of damage, incomplete setor low quality of laundry procedure.
• Steam sterilizes devices as indicated following strictly the MSF protocol.
• Monitor the effectiveness of thesterilization cycle taking note at register.
• Identify each sterilized packaccording to the respective wards in the register book.
• Store and managed the sterilizeddevices.
• Distribute the sterilizeddevices to respective departments.
• Participate in inventory ofequipment and materials.

3. Training:

• Participating in on-goingpersonnel training (sterilization, hygiene etc.) 
• Participating in medicalmeetings,monthly and when necessary.

4. Other:

•  Inform direct supervisor inevent of error without delay

• Responsible for approving and to get the color scheme from customers in the assigned territory
• Responsible to get the business from Architects.
• Responsible to work as a team with Back Sellers in their assigned area in order to create a pull of company’s product.
• Responsible to keep an eye on competitor activities
